Wanasa

Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2, 2026

Swift Orbit LLC ("Swift Orbit", "we", "us") publishes Wanasa · ونسة (formerly named RUMPUS) on the Apple App Store (the "App") and runs this website, playwanasa.com. This policy explains what the App and the website do with your information.

The short version

  • No account. There is no sign-up and no sign-in. The App does get a random anonymous ID from Firebase, tied to nothing about you (section 4B).
  • Your voice stays on your phone. Voice effects and the lights run on your device. Live audio is never recorded, and Record & play keeps a few seconds in memory only to play them back. Nothing is saved or uploaded.
  • Ads. The free App shows ads from Google AdMob at breaks, never during a card, a live voice or a game in play. You can remove them with a one-time purchase.
  • You choose about tracking. The App asks before AdMob may use your advertising identifier to personalize ads.
  • Anonymous usage statistics help us improve the App. They never contain names, voices or card text, and you can turn them off. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland they are off until you turn them on.
  • Notifications are optional. If you turn on reminders, the App can also receive occasional messages through Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple's push service. They are off until you say yes (section 4A).
  • The App works offline.

1. Information we collect

We do not collect personal information through the App. We do not receive your name, email address, location, contacts or photos, and we never receive your voice. The only identifiers involved are a random installation ID created by Google Analytics for Firebase (section 3), a random anonymous user ID created by Firebase Authentication (section 4B) and, only if you turn on notifications, a push token and installation ID created by Firebase Cloud Messaging (section 4A). None of these is your advertising identifier, and none of them identifies you.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App uses Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) to show ads at natural breaks, for example after a session or between arcade games. Some ads are optional: you can choose to watch one to get something in return, and the reward is given only after the ad has finished. AdMob, not Swift Orbit, collects and processes the data it needs to serve and measure ads, which can include your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), coarse location derived from your IP address, device and app interaction data, and diagnostic data. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from apps that use its services.

  • Tracking permission. Before your advertising identifier can be used to personalize ads, the App shows Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can change your answer at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Wanasa.
  • Consent. Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area and the UK), the App first shows Google's consent form. You can review your choice at any time.
  • Content level. Because the App is for every age, ads are limited to content rated for general audiences.
  • No ads after you pay. If you buy Remove Ads or the bundle, the App no longer starts the ad SDK.

3. Usage statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase)

The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the App is used so we can improve it. It receives:

  • Events about using the App: which screens are opened, how many cards are played or skipped (never which cards or what they say), whether today's puzzle or a game was started and finished, scores, how ads and the shop are used (counts only), and similar.
  • Basic app and device information: the App and iOS versions, the device's language and region, and a random installation ID generated by Google's SDK. Your advertising identifier is not used for this, and we do not use the vendor identifier, a user ID, precise location or Google signals.
  • Never: your name, any player names, your voice or any audio, the text of any card, your contacts or photos.

This data is used only to measure and improve the App. It is not used to show you ads and is not combined with other companies' data. Google processes it for us under Google's Privacy Policy.

  • Your choice. Settings in the App → Share anonymous usage data turns it off at any time. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland the App does not collect it until you turn it on.
  • Retention. Event-level data is kept for two months and then deleted.

4. Information that stays on your device

To work, the App keeps a few things in its private storage on your phone. We cannot see them, and deleting the App deletes them:

  • Your settings, for example who you play with and whether reminders are on.
  • Your saved crew: the player names you type and the faces you pick for them, so the next game remembers them.
  • Your progress: packs you unlocked, cards you hid, Brain puzzles and levels, Arcade best scores, rewards and badges.
  • A game left in progress, so you can pick it up again.

4A. Notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging)

Reminders are off until you turn them on (after your first box, or in Settings) and accept the iOS permission prompt. If you do, the App:

  • schedules local reminders on your phone, which never leave it; and
  • registers with Apple's push service and Firebase Cloud Messaging to receive occasional messages from us, such as a new pack or a game-night nudge. Firebase and Apple receive a push token and a random installation ID for this. They are not linked to your name or any account.
  • subscribes your device to broad groups so messages fit you: your interface language (for example "ar"), your country or region (for example "SA") and the App version. We send to these groups, not to named people, and we cannot tell which person a device belongs to.

We do not use notifications for advertising from other companies. Turning reminders off in Settings, or turning off notifications for Wanasa in iOS Settings, stops them; switching reminders off in the App also removes the token and the groups.

4B. Anonymous ID (Firebase Authentication)

When the App starts, it asks Firebase Authentication for a random anonymous user ID. You never see a sign-in screen, and there is no account: the ID is not linked to your name, email address or phone number. Google processes the ID and your device's IP address to provide this service. The ID is separate from the usage statistics, so the "Share anonymous usage data" switch does not turn it off. Deleting the App ends its use of the ID.

5. Microphone

The App asks for microphone access the first time you use a voice feature. Live audio is turned into the voice effect and the light beat on your device and discarded immediately. Record & play holds up to a few seconds of audio in memory so it can play them back in another voice; it is never written to storage and is gone when you leave. Nothing leaves your phone, and the microphone is never used for advertising. You can turn microphone access off at any time in iOS Settings → Wanasa.

6. Reminders

If you turn on reminders, the App asks iOS for permission and schedules notifications on your phone. They are created on the device; nothing is sent to us. You can turn them off in the App's Settings or in iOS Settings → Notifications.

7. Purchases

Extra packs, Remove Ads and the bundle are one-time purchases handled entirely by Apple (the App Store and StoreKit). Apple processes your payment. We do not receive your payment details or your Apple Account, and there is no subscription. "Restore purchases" in the App's Settings asks Apple to confirm what you already bought.

8. Ratings prompt and Apple diagnostics

After some play, the App may show Apple's standard rating prompt, which Apple controls. If you share analytics with app developers in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, Apple may give us aggregated crash and usage statistics that do not identify you.

9. This website

playwanasa.com is hosted on Firebase Hosting (Google). Like any web server, it receives technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and protect the service; we do not use it to identify you.

  • Analytics only with your permission. If you choose "Allow" in the banner, the website uses Google Analytics for Firebase to count visits and see which pages are useful. It sets cookies (such as _ga) and keeps event data for two months. If you choose "No thanks", it is not loaded. You can change your choice with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
  • Your choices are remembered on your browser (your language and your answer to the banner), not on our servers.
  • Fonts are served from this website; the App Store badge image is loaded from Apple.

10. Third parties

The third-party services are Google AdMob with Google's consent platform (section 2), Google Analytics for Firebase (sections 3 and 9), Firebase Cloud Messaging (section 4A), Firebase Authentication (section 4B) and Firebase Hosting (section 9). Purchases and the App Store are Apple's; see Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal information.

11. Children

The App is made for the whole family and has no adult content. It has no accounts, no chat and no content shared with other people. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads are limited to general-audience content. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

12. Your choices and rights

  • Tracking: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • Microphone and notifications: iOS Settings → Wanasa.
  • Remove ads: the App's Settings → Remove ads.
  • Usage statistics: the App's Settings → Share anonymous usage data.
  • Access, correction or deletion: we hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. For data held by Google, use Google's own controls. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA; contact us and we will honour any request.

13. Security

Your game information stays on your device, protected by its own security (passcode, encryption and iOS sandboxing). Usage statistics and this website use encrypted connections.

14. Changes to this policy

If the App or the website changes how it handles information, we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
